Lawrence eyes Arsenal upset

Stoke City midfielder Liam Lawrence believes that Arsenal will be looking for revenge when the two sides meet on the final day of the season. The Gunners suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Britannia Stadium in November and after the game manager Arsene Wenger accused some of Stoke's players of deliberately trying to injure his men. Lawrence has confirmed Wenger's comments remain fresh in his team-mates' minds and he is eager to again frustrate Arsenal, this time at Emirates Stadium on Sunday. "Arsenal will come at us full throttle because they'll be wanting revenge," he said. "But I want us to go there and get something. I don't just want to turn up and it be this nice sunny last-Sunday-of-the-season rubbish. Sting "Does our victory over them earlier in the season still sting with them a bit? Yes, I think it does. "Just look at the comments from Mr Wenger when they got beaten here. He will have them ready to go and wanting them to win. "Wenger isn't a fan of ours and most of the big clubs look at us in the same way. But I want to go there and try to win the game. "Hopefully we can go there and throw another spanner in the works and get something."
