Gerry Francis is expected to hold discussions with Stoke City boss Tony Pulis over his future at the Britannia Stadium.[LNB] Francis has been a coach with the Potters for the past three seasons and is regarded as an integral member of Pulis' backroom staff.[LNB]Having had experience of managing in the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham earlier in his career, Francis was brought in by Pulis after Stoke earned promotion in 2008.[LNB]Stoke chairman Peter Coates is happy with Francis' contribution and will allow Pulis to make any decisions about who he wants to work with.[LNB]But it has been reported that Francis has domestic concerns to discuss with Pulis after travelling long distances to training every week.[LNB]"It is very much Tony's call as to what happens with Gerry," Coates told The Sentinel.[LNB]"I have always left it to Tony to decide what people he has around him, and was more than happy for him to bring Gerry in for his Premier League experience.[LNB]"As far as I am aware, Gerry has been very valuable to him and been an important part of his immediate football management team."[LNB]As well as sorting out his coaching team for the start of the new season, Pulis is also looking into the transfer market in an effort to bolster his squad.[LNB]Coates admits Stoke are considering a number of players but has stayed quiet on the identity of specific targets.[LNB]He explained: "We have plenty of irons in the fire, but it clearly wouldn't be wise to divulge names just yet."
