Fourth England Striker On Potters Radar
Crouch joins trio on target list Stoke are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham and England striker Peter Crouch. Former Liverpool striker Crouch has grown increasingly frustrated at a lack of game time at White Hart Lane, he started only twenty times for Spurs during the last Premier League campaign, and is thought to welcome a move closer to his roots. Crouch, who hails from Macclesfield, is thought to be available for between five and seven million pounds but wages may be a problem with City hoping Spurs will contribute should the Potters pay a little extra transfer fee. The 30-year-old striker joins fellow England hitmen Carlton Cole, Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge in being linked to the Potters during this transfer window.
