Elbow dislocation for Sorensen

Stoke have confirmed goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen suffered a dislocated elbow during Sunday's 7-0 mauling at the hands of Chelsea.

The Denmark international was stretchered off and replaced by Asmir Begovic after injuring himself while trying to prevent Salomon Kalou putting Chelsea 2-0 up in the 31st minute at Stamford Bridge.

"He's dislocated his elbow," said Stoke boss Tony Pulis. "We're hoping they can pop it back in and he doesn't need an operation. If he needs an operation he'll struggle for the World Cup."
