Stoke midfielder Rory Delap has reflected on the Potters' Premier League campaign and believes they can feel proud of their progress.[LNB] Tony Pulis' charges ended the season in 11th position, improving their performance from the previous season - their debut campaign - by one place and two points. [LNB]"That's what we were looking for and that's what we've done. [LNB]"If you look back, it could have been a lot better. But I suppose everyone will look at their season like that," Delap told BBC Radio Stoke.[LNB]Meanwhile, Delap has revealed Pulis has told his squad to return to pre-season training in good shape.[LNB]"It's going to be another tough pre-season, there's going to be no surprises there," added the 33-year-old. "The manager knows what he wants from us and we've got to come back in decent shape. [LNB]"When I was 20 years old it was hard enough, but no matter how old you are or what position you play. [LNB]"You know you've got to fight for your place and there are going to be times when you're in and out of the team. If it wasn't like that, it wouldn't be right."
