Stoke veteran Rory Delap insists his fitness will not be an issue during the forthcoming Premier League season.[LNB] The Potters midfielder, who turns 35 on Wednesday, is not worried about being one of the team's elder statesmen.[LNB]Delap does not feel his fitness has declined in recent seasons and is ready to prove his worth to manager Tony Pulis again this term.[LNB]"I'm still feeling fit," Delap said. "In fact I did the bleep test last week and scored the same as I have in the last couple of years.[LNB]"I am fit enough, but it is the manager's decision whether I play or not. He has to put the best team out, and whether it has me in or not, I have to get on with it."[LNB]And Delap is confident the Potters can build on their efforts of last term, when the team reached the FA Cup final and finished in mid-table.[LNB]"That gives us an incentive for this season because you want to better yourself every year," Delap added.
