Dave Capostagno reports on Potters defender possible international recall City full-back Danny Collins is inline for a recall to Welsh squad for Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland in the upcoming weeks.  It will be his first call up in three and a half years as reward for his recent form.  Collins was frozen out after a disagreement with then manager Josh Toshack, but his resignation earlier this month leaves Bryan Flynn in temporary charge. Flynn has been at Stoke's training ground recently and Collins revealed "I spoke to him while he was here and everything was OK."He asked me if I had retired. I said 'no' and he said 'fine'."I'd love to play for Wales again. When I last did it was as left-back, but I'll have to wait to see where he wants me to play." Collins is currently keeping former Sunderland team mate Danny Higginbotham out the team after Stoke's opening day defeat to Wolves.  This is Collins third longest run in the Stoke team which is testament to his recent good form backed up with good display in sundays win over Newcastle.  Collins also said " It's been nice to be part of a team going on a bit of a run, we're not playing great, but we're grafting results out." This recall could set up an international meeting with Matthew Etherington if the Stoke man could force his way into Cappelo's plans for the Euro 2012 qualifiers when Wales play England, with Collins at right back and Etherington on the left for England.
