Stoke expect to complete the signing of Marc Wilson on Thursday after jumping ahead of West Brom in the queue to land the Portsmouth captain.[LNB] West Brom have failed with two bids for Wilson, while Fulham had in watched in Tuesday's Carling Cup win over Crystal Palace, but it is Stoke who look set to land the 23-year-old with a player-plus cash deal.[LNB]"I have to say I really don't want him to go anywhere," Steve Cotterill told The News. "But if I get to the situation where the club needs money, I don't know what I can do about that. I might have that meeting.[LNB]"What's the chances of Marc being around for the weekend? It depends on what I get. There are a couple of clubs who are interested in Marc.[LNB]"It's difficult, but what do you do if someone comes in and gives you money and/or players?[LNB]"Marc Wilson is a quality player, but maybe this football club is not in a position to say no."
