Collins eyes Wales recall

Danny Collins is hoping to follow his move to Stoke City with a call-up to the Wales national side. The defender secured a £2.75million switch to the Britannia Stadium from Sunderland on transfer deadline day. Collins has already stated that he is looking forward to the new club chapter in his career after five years with the Black Cats. And now the 29-year-old is targeting a return to the Wales squad after his last cap came two-and-a-half years ago following a fall-out with manager John Toshack. Collins said: "I've got one or two things to sort out with the manager. "But maybe it's only a phone call away. You want to be playing for your country, and so hopefully that can be sorted."
