Kitson Pompey switch waits on club exiting administration The Potters former record signing David Kitson's loan move to Championship side Portsmouth has been put on hold as the deal won't be approved until the club come out of administration. Debt ridden Pompey are being forced to wait until the next Football League meeting, on the 9th of September, before they can ask to come out of administration and gatehr the necessary approval to bring more players in. Kitson is currently training with the youth team after a major fall out after being subbed away at Chelsea last season, aswell as one earlier in the season, and will no doubt be leaving the club sooner rather than later, having seen a proposed move to Bristol City fall through when manager Steve Coppell made the shock decision to resign and retire. Leeds are apparently very interested in taking the 30-year-old on a season long loan, with a view to a premanent deal, and City may be happier with that deal than the one with Portsmouth, which will leave Kitson with a maximum 93 days at Fratton Park, prior to the January window, before he would have to return to Stoke.
