Andy Carroll wants to stay at promoted Newcastle and help them in their bid to establish their Premier League status next season.[LNB] Speculation has linked Stoke with a summer move for the 21-year-old striker after it emerged that manager Chris Hughton may have to sell current members of his squad if he wants to generate cash to fund summer spending with no new money available to him.[LNB]Reports alleging a training ground bust-up between Carroll and defender Steven Taylor, who has also been touted as a target for Bolton, have led to claims that one of the pair will be sold.[LNB]However, Gateshead-born Carroll, who finished a triumphant Coca-Cola Championship campaign as leading scorer with 19 goals, is determined to be part of Hughton's squad for the big kick-off in August.[LNB]He said: "I think most people know that I don't want to leave. It's always been my ambition to play for Newcastle United and score goals at St James' Park, and that's what I have been able to do.[LNB]"I have always said that if I get the opportunities to play, I will score goals, and hopefully that continues. I have been at Newcastle since I was 10 and I'm totally committed."
