All you need to know about Stoke City new boy Marko Arnautovic

Stoke City have signed Austria winger Marko Arnautovic for an undisclosed fee from German club Werder Bremen.

The Potters are reportedly paying £2m for the forward, who has won 27 international caps for Austria and has signed a four-year contract.

Arnautovic played in the Netherlands with FC Twente and spent a year on loan with Inter Milan before moving to Werder Bremen.

A few career stats and facts at a glance: * Born in Vienna of a Serbian father and an Austrian mother, he is fluent in German, Serbian, Dutch, and English.

* He began his career with his brother Danijel at Floridsdorfer AC and was scouted by FC Twente, for whom he signed a contract for the reserve team.

* Arnautović scored 22 goals in 24 games for the Under 19 FC Twente in the 2007–08 season, helping them win the youth championship.

* He then played for Jong FC Twente between 2006 and 2008, appearing in 32 games and scoring 27 goals. * He made his professional debut for FC Twente in the 2006–07 season against PSV Eindhoven in April 2007. In July 2008 he extended his contract with Twente despite interest from Dutch giants Feyenoord.

* After joining Inter Milan in 2009, he made his Serie A debut in a 1–0 away victory against Chievo. * In June 2010, German club Werder Bremen confirmed that they had signed Arnautović from Twente on a four-year deal. * He played his first match for the Austria national senior team on 11 October 2008 against the Faroe Islands.
