New signing Hannes Sigurdsson has told the local newspaper that he won't disapoint like previous icelandic strikers have at the Britannia. "I'm no Rikki Dadason" he says."I don't think we are the same player because we have a different style of play," says the 22-year-old striker. "I know it always takes time to adapt to a new culture and a new style of play, but this is the kind of football that suits me."Roy Hodgson said that I should definitely have a go over here. I also spoke to a couple of other Icelandic players about the move."I chatted to Petur Marteinsson, who was here once, and I met Toddi Gudjonsson in the summer to talk about it. They both recommended the move and said it was a good place to be."I'm not sure if I'll be fit for Saturday yet," he admitted. "That's something I will have to talk over with the physio. I sampled the stadium and atmosphere when I visited a couple of weeks ago and I can't wait to get out there now I'm a Stoke player."
