Woman in court over baby neglect

A woman has appeared in court in Manchester charged with neglect over the death of her baby son.Tracey Sutherland, 39, is accused of neglecting 13-month-old Alexander between October 29 and November 10. He was found by police on Tuesday. Ms Sutherland, of Porlock Road, Baguley, was remanded in custody by Manchester magistrates. She is due before the same court next Tuesday and the case will be committed to the Crown Court at a later date. .... read more
