Second-half strikes from Gareth Edds and Ian Moore gave Rovers victory and ensured Oli Johnson 's injury-time goal was no more than consolation for County. Ward said: "There were a lot of battles out there and Tranmere won most of them. "We conceded a poor goal from a corner and the penalty killed us off. We did not offload our passes quickly enough. "Indeed the players were very hesitant at times and feel a bit sorry for themselves just now. We have just got to keep working hard. We know we can do a lot better."
