Striker earns County contract

Stockport County have completed the signing of Nostell Miners Welfare striker Oli Johnson.

The highly-rated 20-year-old has been on trial at Edgeley Park after impressing when playing against the Hatters in a pre-season friendly.

He scored the only goal for County's Under-21 side in last week's victory against Wrexham.

Johnson has signed a contract with the League One side that will run until the end of the season.
