A stunning strike from Greg Tansey earned Stockport a win against Leyton Orient and secured their first home victory of the season. Stockport broke the deadlock when on-loan Nicholas Bignall slotted home his first league goal after a slip by Orient centre-back Tamika Mkandawire. Tansey's 30-yard drive provided a vital cushion for the Hatters with a quarter of an hour remaining. A late strike from Mkandawire was merely a consolation for the visitors.
