Stockport County manager Jim Gannon has agreed a deal to bring Everton goalkeeper John Ruddy back to Edgeley Park on a month's loan.

The Hatters boss has moved quickly to bring a new shot-stopper to the club as first-choice goalkeeper Conrad Logan is currently suspended.

The 21-year-old, who played 11 games for County during a loan spell with the club last season, has made one first-team appearance for Everton - as a substitute in the 1-0 win against Blackburn in February 2006.

Ruddy started his career with Cambridge United and, during his time at Goodison Park, has also been loaned out to Walsall, Rushden & Diamonds, Chester City, Wrexham and Bristol City.
