Rowe set for Peterborough deal

Rowe, 20, operates mainly on the left wing but Ferguson insists that he will not be brought in as cover for George Boyd. Ferguson told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "I certainly haven't bought Tommy to play left-back, but that doesn't mean he will be competing with George for a place in the team on the wing. "We will need to be very flexible in the way we play to compete in the Championship and I could play George anywhere along the front four. "Tommy does fit the profile of player we like at the club. He's young, he's hungry and he's very talented. He will fit in with the other lads and that's important. "We have agreed a fee with Stockport's administrators and I'm looking forward to working with Tommy."
