Raynes backs Hatters midfielder

Highly-rated Raynes has been linked with a move to a higher-placed club to ease the financial burden at crisis-torn County, who remain in administration. Attacking midfielder Baker, who has emerged as one of the best players in League One this season, is expected to join Coventry this month. Raynes said: "I've not heard anything about myself leaving but we've all heard the rumours about Carl going to Coventry. "If he goes then I'd like to wish him all the best because he's an outstanding player and has earned the right to play at a higher level."
