New deal for Proudlock

Stockport County striker Adam Proudlock has signed a new 18-month contract with the League Two outfit.

The injury-plagued hitman moved to Edgeley Park in the summer after being released by Ipswich Town and initially signed a one-year contract.

But after impressing Hatters boss Jim Gannon with his performances since August, the 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a new contract.

"It's been really tough for Adam at times when he kept breaking down at training, but we've been patient with him and given him the time to regain full fitness," Gannon told the club's official website.

"He's worked so hard to come good like he has and I'm delighted for him. He's earned his contract and I'm delighted he's signed it."
