McNeil suffers setback

Stockport County striker Matty McNeil has been told he will be sidelined for another two weeks after a scan revealed tendonitis in his knee. The 31-year-old former Macclesfield Town forward will have to have an injection to correct the problem. "I was hoping to be back this week at Hereford, but to find out from the scan that the injury was different to what we thought is a blow," McNeil told County's official website. McNeil, who has made 22 appearances for the Hatters following last summer's switch from Macclesfield, has been sidelined since November.
