Lennon lined up for Stockport job

Former Celtic and Northern Ireland midfielder Neil Lennon is the leading candidate to become the next Stockport manager, BBC Sport understands. Jim Melrose, who is heading the consortium currently in the process of taking over at County, worked with Lennon at Leicester City. The consortium hope to announce a new manager by Wednesday or Thursday. Lennon, 38, recently took over from Willie McStay as reserve-team boss at Celtic Park. .... read more
