Homes at risk after heavy rains

A severe flood warning is in place in Lancashire after heavy rain overnight.Homes are at risk in Chatterton and Strongstry from the River Irwell, which has already burst its banks into Nuttall Park in nearby Ramsbottom. Flooding in Manchester Road, Ramsbottom, has led to delays for traffic heading towards Bury.
