Hatters snap up McNulty

Stockport County have signed defender Jim McNulty following his decision to leave their local rivals Macclesfield Town.

The 22-year-old rejected a new contract to remain with the Silkmen, but has agreed terms with the Edgeley Park outfit.

McNulty joined Macclesfield in August 2006 from Wrexham and made 40 appearances.

Meanwhile, the Hatters have also signed teenager Daniel Pilkington, brother of the club's striker Anthony.
