Hatters recall Le Fondre

Stockport County have recalled striker Adam Le Fondre from his loan spell with League Two rivals Rochdale.

The 20-year-old netted four goals in seven games for Dale, but seems set to go straight back into the starting eleven at Edgeley Park.

Boss Jim Gannon told the club's official website: "I told Adam that when he considered himself to be 100 per cent fit and at the top of his game, then we'd bring him back and give him an opportunity.

"There are other players within the team who have had loads of opportunities while Adam's been away, but none of them have really taken the opportunity to make the centre-forward spot their own."

The Hatters have also extended the loan stays of goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey and midfielder Dominic Blizzard by a further month.

Wolves youngster Hennessey recently helped County a new record of nine league wins on the trot without conceding a goal, while Blizzard has impressed since his arrival from Watford.
