Hatters make double move

Stockport County boss Jim Gannon has pulled off a double transfer coup by landing David Poole from Yeovil Town and extending Stephen Gleeson's loan stay at Edgeley Park.

Poole impressed on an initial loan stay with the Hatters, scoring twice in 16 appearances before returning to Yeovil in early December.

Meanwhile Gleeson, on loan from Wolves, has extended his initial two-month stay by a further four weeks.

The midfielder has made 11 appearances for the League Two side since arriving in November.

The Hatters have already landed Boston United striker Anthony Elding since the transfer window opened on January 1.
