Hatters land loanee Lowe

Promotion hopefuls Stockport County have completed the signing of Crewe Alexandra striker Ryan Lowe on loan until the end of the season.

Hatters boss Jim Gannon had earlier signed Stephen Gleeson from Wolves and allowed Ashley Williams to move to League One table-toppers Swansea City on loan.

Lowe made his name at Shrewsbury Town, scoring 40 goals for the club, before signing for Chester City three years ago.

He found the net 17 times in 42 appearances for City, before joining Crewe in the summer of 2006, but has spent most of this season on the Gresty Road substitutes bench.
