Stockport County have snapped up Manchester City youngster Shaleum Logan on a month's loan and also hope to bring another Premier League player to Edgeley Park.
The 19-year-old full-back is expected to play a part in Saturday's League Two clash with Accrington Stanley.
Logan has spent loan spells with Scunthorpe United and Grimsby Town already this term, making four appearances for the Iron and playing five games for Alan Buckley's side.
He has also made two first-team appearances for Manchester City this season, in the Carling Cup victories against Bristol City and Norwich City.
