Gleeson returns to County

Stockport County manager Jim Gannon has completed the loan signing of Wolves midfielder Stephen Gleeson.

The 19-year-old, who has been on loan at Hereford United for the last month, returns to the club he made 17 appearances for last term.

Gannon told County's official website: "Stephen's a player I've been wanting for several months. I think last time around he had a fantastic three months here and his quality lifted us around the training facility.

"And I think the fans got a glimpse of a quality player and I'm delighted to have him back. I think he'll be a great addition to the squad and the team over the next seven games."
