Stockport County boss Jim Gannon hit out at MK Dons after seeing his side's automatic promotion hopes hit by a 3-2 home defeat by Paul Ince's team.
Gannon saw the Hatters miss a chance to take over third place from Hereford United and was less than pleased by some of the tactics adopted by the Dons, who secured a rise to League One in the process.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "Although MK Dons have got some quality players and play some good football, I think they epitomise a lot of what I don't like about the game in England.
"Snide practices, using fouls as a tactic, time-wasting, gamesmanship and, most of all, arrogance.
"I'm proud of the way my players conducted themselves, we've got the best disciplinary record in the league."
