Stockport County boss Jim Gannon anticipates three new players arriving at Edgeley Park shortly.

The Hatters boss has money to spend following Liam Dickinson's transfer to Derby County earlier this week and a new striker is his first priority.

"We especially need a number one and a number ten, but now I'm also on the lookout for a number nine too, Gannon told the Manchester Evening News.

"We've made offers for several targets, including number tens and three clubs have accepted our offers already.

"We will be seeking at least three additions to the squad, so we'll see how negotiations with some of our targets go this week.

"We have got the finances available to strengthen considerably."
