County bounced back from last weekend's defeat at play-off rivals Scunthorpe thanks to second-half goals from Leon McSweeney and James Vincent to ensure Michael Mackay's late strike was no more than consolation for Pools. "I thought we deserved it," said Gannon. "I'm really pleased we've been able to respond to Saturday's defeat at Scunthorpe with this three points."
