Five arrested during terror raids

Five men, including four from Greater Manchester, have been arrested in a series of counter-terrorism raids.The operations took place in Longsight, Fallowfield, Levenshulme, Deane in Bolton, Stalybridge and a hotel near Heathrow Airport. Those arrested are aged between 21 and 62 and the arrests relate to the incitement of terrorism overseas. Police said armed officers were not used in the raids, which took place at about 0400 GMT.
