Stockport County striker Anthony Elding has rejected talk of interest in him from clubs higher up the Football League ladder.

The 25-year-old netted 11 goals in 20 appearances for the Hatters following his arrival from Boston United in January, sparking rumours of interest from the likes of Crystal Palace.

However, Elding is content to remain at Edgeley Park and keep up the good work.

He told the Stockport Express: "I have heard bits and I don't know whether it's speculation or the truth.

"Nobody has spoken to me from Stockport County and said anything official though.

"Some people have said to me that some clubs may be interested, even possibly Championship clubs, but things like that don't really interest me.

"I'm a Stockport County player now, I'm 100 per cent committed to the club."
