Duo extend Hatters stay

Stockport County have been able to extend the loan stays of goalkeeper John Ruddy and midfielder David Poole to a third month.

The pair will be unable to play in the FA Cup first round clash with Exeter City this weekend, but will then be able to resume their Hatters careers.

Twenty-year-old Ruddy is on loan with County from Premiership Everton and has made nine appearances since his arrival from the Toffees.

Poole, 21, has made ten appearances since joining from Yeovil Town, scoring in the 2-0 home win over Barnet.
