Dickinson hopes to impress

Stockport County striker Liam Dickinson is desperate to help his side clinch a play-off place in League Two, having completed a three-match suspension.

The Hatters need to win at Darlington and hope other results go in their favour, with Dickinson likely to start as Adam Proudlock is ruled out with a knee injury.

He told the Manchester Evening News: "It's been frustrating because no-one wants to watch from the stands.

"I think I was finding a bit of form, but I've just got to get on with things and look forward to the Darlington game.

County manager Jim Gannon added: "The stage is set for Liam and now he's determined to make an impact."
