County seal loan deals

Stockport County have snapped up two new players just before the start of the season, with another on the verge of moving to Edgeley Park.

Liverpool defender James Smith has signed a one-month loan deal with the Hatters, while Leicester City goalkeeper Conrad Logan has agreed a season-long loan arrangement.

Logan has made 20 first-team appearances for the Foxes and also played in 13 games during a loan spell with Boston United during the 2005-06 campaign.

Meanwhile Dominic Blizzard, who had his contract with MK Dons cancelled by mutual agreement earlier this week, is about to pen a two-year deal with Jim Gannon's side.
