County move for Blizzard

Stockport County boss Jim Gannon has strengthened his promotion-chasing squad by capturing Watford midfielder Dominic Blizzard on a one-month loan deal.

The 23-year-old has only made one appearance for the Hornets this term - in the Carling Cup clash with Accrington Stanley - but is looking forward to his spell at Edgeley Park.

He told County's official website: "I'd love to play in a promotion-winning team and it would be great to help County up to the next level."

Blizzard has scored three goals in 36 appearances for Watford since making his debut almost three years ago.
