New Stockport County manager Paul Simpson has made Mark Lynch and Barry Conlon his first signings as he stamps his mark on the League Two side. Lynch, who plies his trade at right-back, started his career at Manchester United before spells with Hull City, Sunderland, St Johnstone and Rotherham United. Meanwhile, former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Conlon has penned on the dotted line after being released from Grimsby Town in January. The powerful forward enjoyed a brief spell with Chesterfield towards the end of last season and will give County a new option in attack ahead of their league opener at Southend United on Saturday August 7.
