County were boosted by the return of goalkeeper Owain fon Williams for Saturday's visit of Bristol Rovers after international duty with Wales in midweek. The highly-rated stopper was unable to prevent a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of the Pirates and his return was the only change to Ablett's starting line-up. It was the third consecutive game that Ablett has selected the same 10 outfield players. Changes are again likely to be kept to a minimum as Stockport's threadbare squad seek to record the first win of the season. County were dumped out of the Carling Cup last week and have collected a solitary point from their opening two League One outings.
