Boss has no complaints after loss

Published: 22 Mar 2009 - 16:50:02

Two goals either side of half-time for the home side sunk Gannon's cash-strapped Hatters and the County boss made no excuses for his below-par side. "The players have taken a knock since the club's financial problems have come to light and I hope things are resolved soon so I know what I've got to work with," he said. "It was a demoralising result for us. "The nature of the goals we conceded were very disappointing and they will look poor goals on TV, it was slack marking all round. "But I'm having to play 18 and 19-year-olds at the moment and we didn't deserve anything out of the game because of the mistakes we made. "But I couldn't see anything wrong with our disallowed goal, it was a very questionable decision."
