Ablett backs keeper to respond

Published: 18 Feb 2010 - 17:48:10

The Wales international allowed David Prutton's tame cross to slip through his fingers before County fought back from 2-0 down to earn a point. Yet he recovered from his error to produce fine saves to deny John-Joe O'Toole and Kayode Odejayi. Ablett, whose side travel to Exeter this weekend, told the Manchester Evening News: "Owain is sensitive and was really upset in the dressing room after the game because he thought he'd cost us. "He is suffering a bit confidence-wise, but I'm more than pleased with Owain. I rate him highly. "He's disappointed with his mistake but he'll learn from it and move on."
