Ablett: Everyones rallying together

Published: 17 Dec 2009 - 11:35:47

Administrators Leonard Curtis are urging potential investors to come forward and buy the cash-strapped League One outfit. League rules state that no club can start two seasons in administration and County risk being expelled if they cannot find a new owner before the start of 2010/2011. The true extent of the club's financial woes was revealed when it emerged that goalkeeping coach Paul Gerrard has paid £1,200 for heart rate monitors while fitness coach Steve Jones has bought sports recovery drinks. Ablett told the Stockport Express: "I couldn't be happier with the level of commitment that the staff have shown. Not only with Paul putting his hand in his pocket for the heart monitors and Steve Jones paying for the recovery drinks. "Everyone's rallying round in a difficult situation and I'm really proud to be involved with the club."
