Ablett: Every player is up for sale

Carl Baker, Oli Johnson and Peter Thompson all left Edgeley Park last week and County's financial problems mean every player has their price. "Because of the situation we find ourselves in, every player is available," Ablett told the Stockport Express. Ablett is also looking to bring in some new faces but admits the club's precarious league position is an obstacle. He added: "We're finding it hard to attract players but we're giving them the opportunity to play 23 games here which is far better than playing in the reserves. "I've been disappointed that some of the players we were after have decided they don't want to get involved in a relegation scrap. I think it shows a lack of ambition to be happy to take their money sitting in the reserves while turning down the opportunity to play elsewhere."
