Ablett: Draw was a good result

Published: 27 Sep 2009 - 16:25:22

Huddersfield duo Antony Kay and Gary Roberts both hit the bar but the Terriers rarely troubled County keeper Owain Fon Williams thanks to a clean sheet masterminded by on-loan Leeds defender Paul Huntington. After the stalemate at the Galpharm Stadium, Ablett said: "It's a good result. I couldn't have asked for any more from my players. "They like to attack in the numbers, getting the ball wide, and we tried to stop that. I thought Huntington was outstanding at the back." County are still in administration and Ablett added: "Because of our situation, it is difficult to attract players to the club. So we try to target young players on loan who either want first-team football or hope to use this as a springboard to further their careers at their own clubs. "Huntington in particular has done incredibly well and I think we'll be very lucky if he's still with us after January."
