Ward: we were wide open

Stockport caretaker boss Peter Ward has urged his side to be more ruthless after a 4-0 rout at Rotherham. Aaron Brown headed into his own net before Ryan Taylor scored his first of the afternoon. Le Fondre made it three before Taylor completed the rout with a second-half tap in. Le Fondre then had a late goal disallowed for a push. Ward said: "It's all right playing nice pretty football, but I think when you are in the position we are in things have to change. "It's all right having lots of possession, but we had no penetration. "It's all foreplay and I think I have got to seriously look at the tactics and maybe I should take some of the blame for the way we are playing. "It's attractive on the eye but it's not winning games because we are conceding goals because we are wide open and people are not having to work hard to score against us."
