Ward wants Fletcher return

Stockport caretaker boss Peter Ward is hoping to be able to call on striker Wes Fletcher for the trip to Hereford. The rookie frontman is on loan from Burnley and is set to be passed fit for the final game of his three-month spell at Edgeley Park. Ward has no major injury concerns following Tuesday's thriller at home to Rotherham, when his side blew a 3-1 lead with five minutes to go to draw 3-3. Ward is taking the positives from his side's display and believes there were plenty of encouraging signs. He said: "It was an excellent team performance, but it's only one performance. "There's still 21 league games to go so we just need to try and build on this now."
