Ward waiting on Assoumani
Stockport caretaker boss Peter Ward will check on the fitness of defender Mansour Assoumani ahead of the trip to Accrington.
Assoumani is rated as doubtful after he picked up a knock and left the field in the closing stages of Saturday`s 2-1 home win over Oxford.
His replacement, Greg Tansey, scored the winner in added time and could now earn a starting role should Assoumani fail to recover in time.
Striker Ryan Doble is still suspended as he serves the final game of a three-match ban and defender Danny O'Donnell could miss out again due to injury.
