Ward embraces Stockport's underdog status

Stockport caretaker boss Peter Ward believes the fact that his side have been written off as relegation certainties could work in their favour. County lie second bottom in League Two and have just 14 games to save themselves - starting with Saturday`s trip to Bradford. Yet Ward feels there is little pressure on his struggling side as they prepare to face the Bantams at Valley Parade. "We've got nothing to lose," said Ward. "Everybody seems to have written us off already, so maybe that will take a bit of pressure off the lads and they can go out and express themselves. "There are teams with games in hand, we're aware of that, but all we can do is prepare for Bradford and take it one game at a time."
